Lindsay & Rob, St. Anselm/Fratello’s, Manchester, NH
You may remember seeing this awesome couple in a sunflower field. We had their engagement session at Colby Farm in Newbury, MA last year. I didn’t realize until getting to know them better how defining sunflowers were for them! To say Lindsay is in love is an understatement! We were happy to be chosen as Lindsay & Rob’s Manchester, New Hampshire wedding photographer.
Another thing to know about Lindsay? She is a twin! So, Kelly, I’m admitting it here. I confused you two before donning your dresses. But only for a second! Ack!
Confusion officially over! Lindsay’s dress helped a bit there 🙂 Looking stunning with pops of red and yellow from sunflowers, we headed to Saint Anselm College’s Abbey for the ceremony, Linday’s alma mater.
I find myself in churches less frequently these days as more of our couples opt for outdoor ceremonies, but as the rain picked up speed outside, this option seemed like brilliant foresight!
Lindsay worked at Catholic Medical Center with a friend of mine, and I’ve been very thankful for the referral as this couple has been so sincerely sweet and wonderful to work with. Lindsay’s stress levels looked more like a line drive than a popup fly ball! As in, it was rather non-existent on the charts.
This made capturing their goofy personalities all that much more enjoyable. The study group in the building next door must have felt this too, as they whipped up their own way of celebrating the couple.
Both Lindsay and Rob are from New Hampshire, which made this celebration even more special, Lindsay being at her home campus and Rob having graduated from nearby Southern NH University.
I can’t tell you how much I love that they were not phased in the least by the rain. Nothing but love and excitement exuded from these newlyweds! And as I’ve gotten to know them over the past year, I can honestly say I cannot imagine them without one another.
Heading off to the reception, we put the umbrellas away and joined the wedding party in the limo. Loretta and her team at Fratello’s in Manchester outdid themselves, transforming the hall within an old mill building into a romantic warm space filled with rustic charm and sunflower highlights.
Having a local wedding made this extra special as family and friends were abundant and love outpouring. The only problem was in totally loosing track of time! The night flew, and I don’t think any of us wanted to leave!
