Acadia National Park Engagement Photography
We had a blast with Morgan & Brandon at their Acadia National Park engagement photography. Acadia is quickly becoming our summer home. Knowing the island so well, we love being able to side skirt the crowded summit of Cadillac Mountain, Sand Beach, Jordan Pond and Park Loop Road to find our own niches. The result is a completely peaceful experience unlike any other where the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Acadia in it’s original grandeur is epic!
Mount Desert Island, where the majority of the park is located, has an amazing draw to those who visit. It’s a common story to hear of residents who started by visiting, then eventually never left. Morgan and Brandon are examples of the island’s magnetic pull.
Brandon is originally from Massachusetts, attended the Connecticut Culinary Institute and is now a permanent addition to the vibrant cultural life on island. As sous chef of Coda Restaurant his evenings are usually spent in the heat of the kitchen.
Morgan is from the Lewiston, Maine area. Her island life was less permanent until Brandon came along sweeping her off her feet. Their relationship was long distance until she moved in with him in Bar Harbor. She now works for the First National Bank and Side Street Cafe.
Somehow they manage to get two days off a week together. We stole them for an evening to climb one of Acadia’s mountains. As the rain lifted our efforts were met with an amazing rainbow. Not only did we have the entire place to ourselves, but gorgeous vistas with a stunning sunset.
Brandon and Morgan are planning their Mount Desert Island wedding for the 2018 season, giving them loads of time to create perfection! We have no doubts it will be filled with love and the magic of Acadia!
